Harry Edward Styles is an English singer, songwriter, and musician. He was part of One Direction. He was born at Holmes Chapel (Cheshire), England, on the 1st of February, 1994. He is the son Des Styles, and Anne Cox. Harry Styles went to the Holmes Chapel Comprehensive School, together with his fellow classmates, created a band group dubbed White Eskimo. After they won the Battle of Bands 2009 thanks to their outstanding performance, the band also took part in the 2010 Battle of Bands. He was always interested in music but also wanted to become an attorney, physiotherapist or even a scout. He was employed at a local bakery part-time to support his family financially. For the year 2010 Harry Styles presented audition for The X Factor where he performed the song Is not She Lovely by Stevie Wonder and was selected. Due to this, the group he was in had to be disbanded. Nicole Scherzinger told Harry Styles, Liam Payne Zayn Milik Niall Horan, and Louis Tomlinson that they'd form an ensemble called One Direction after the X Factor audition. Simon Cowell was the sponsor of the group that formed in the year 2010. They performed Kelly Clarkson's My Life Would be Sucking Without You together with Bonnie Tyler Total Eclipse of the Heart. As a consequence, they were one of the finalist. They came third, behind Rebecca Ferguson. Harry Styles' group didn't win, but Cowell nevertheless paid $2 million in cash to One Direction for them to sign a deal with Syco.
