Anna Silk was the first daughter of Peter Silk (an academic) and Ilkay Silk (a writer, actor, director, producer and professor in St. Thomas University). Anna was born in Fredericton. She is being the daughter of the couple Peter Silk and Ilkay Silk. Her mother is a "English-Turkish Cypriot expat" who hails originally from Britain. Anna remembers attending the rehearsals of performances as a kid and observing her mother at work. In her early years Anna appeared in a number of commercials for television. Anna relocated to Toronto, Ontario, in order to pursue acting. The decade following, she moved into Los Angeles. Seth Cooperman and Anna met in Los Angeles in 2007, at an actor's workshop. They became engaged in 2009 after getting married. Anna has recently converted to Judaism and they got married in Fredericton.
